2012 Fundraising Drive off to Great Start! Save the Date: 01 - 14 -12

Thank you for supporting Namaste Kathmandu!

You are invited to an all-ages Bollywood dance party at Lola's Room, below the Crystal Ballroom. No experience is required; all you need is the desire to have FUN. DJ's Prashant and Armaan are generously donating a portion of every ticket to Namaste Kathmandu and Portland non-profit Central City Concern. What better way to bring in the new year than by supporting the work we do for the kids in Kathmandu, laughing all night, and dancing with friendly people? You will not be disappointed!

PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME! If 500 people buy tickets before December 31st, 2011, we will move the event to the 1,500 person capacity Crystal Ballroom! 1,500 people means $1,500 for Namaste Kathmandu! Please purchase your $10 ticket here.

DJ Prashant will give a short lesson on how to dance the "Jai Ho!" dance from the popular "Slumdog Millionaire" movie, and more experienced dancers will give a short performance.

Last night's fundraiser raised $5,353.26 for the kids at Mechi Mahakali School, placing us more than halfway to our 2012 goal o $10,000! Dhanyabad and Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!
